The 2025 football season will begin on Saturday, Aug. 30, when NM State welcomes Bryant to open the year. The Aggies will remain at home for the second week of the season when they host former Missouri Valley Conference foe Tulsa on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Following a pair of road contests, NM State’s second year under Head Coach Tony Sanchez will continue on Thursday, Oct. 2, when they begin Conference USA play against Sam Houston inside Aggie Memorial Stadium. This will also mark one of two midweek home games as the Aggies will host Missouri State on Wednesday, Oct. 22, in their next home bout.
The Aggies’ ensuing home game will come against Kennesaw State on Saturday, Nov. 8. This will be NM State’s first-ever meeting with the Owls, who became members of CUSA ahead of the 2024 campaign; however, they were the only conference team the Aggies did not see last year.
Coming off of away games at Tennessee and UTEP, NM State will return home for the regular season finale against Middle Tennessee on Saturday, Nov. 29.
This upcoming season, NM State will look to earn its third bid to a bowl game in just the last four years – a feat the Aggie program has never accomplished.
