Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Rescue crews responded to a deadly single vehicle crash on Corona Road at 2:30 a.m. Friday.
One person was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. The second occupant was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Residents were asked to avoid the area as there were downed power lines in the area. El Paso Electric was notified and assessed repairs to the damage.
