Fire damaged a home on the 2300 block of Calle de Suenos Saturday evening.
Las Cruces firefighters responded to the structure fire on Calle de Suenos just after 6:15 p.m. Sat., Dec. 21.
Crews arrived to find light smoke coming from the home and indications that a resident was still inside. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and the resident was removed from the home through a window.
The resident was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
