The Las Cruces Police Department’s first Town Hall Meeting of 2026 will be held Thursday evening and will include a presentation of annual crime statistics and a discussion of trends that present challenges for the community.

The Town Hall Meeting begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, in Council Chambers at Las Cruces City Hall, 700 N. Main St. The meeting is anticipated to last about two hours.
The meeting will include a presentation of crime statistics from 2025 along with a discussion about juvenile crime and the rates of recidivism in Las Cruces. The meeting will serve as an opportunity for residents to connect with LCPD officials, ask questions and contribute to the ongoing efforts to help promote a safer community.
For those who cannot attend in-person, the meeting will be televised live on CLCTV, Comcast Cable channel 20-SD and 928-HD. It will also be livestreamed on the Las Cruces Police Department’s Facebook page and on the City’s YouTube channel.
