Public Safety: Doña Ana Fire Rescue Contains South Valley Burn; Smoke May Linger Overnight

Doña Ana Fire Rescue crews responded to an improperly controlled burn near the 3500 block of Linden Avenue in the South Valley area just after 12 p.m. Thursday.

Although the fire has been contained, the burn area may continue to smolder and produce smoke overnight and into Friday.
