Doña Ana Fire Rescue responded to a house fire Sunday evening near Organ. Crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire just after 7:30 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find a mobile home fully engulfed in flames.
Crews quickly ensured all occupants were safely evacuated and began defensive operations to contain the fire. Once extinguished, crews remained on scene to monitor hotspots.
One person was transported to a local hospital for smoke inhalation. All livestock on the property were saved. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
