Sunland Park Fire Department Resolves Monday Gas Leak Incident

Sunland Park Fire personnel successfully mitigated a gas leak at the intersection of Comerciantes and McNutt Rd. earlier today. After securing the area and ensuring the safety of nearby businesses, the scene has been cleared and turned over to NM Gas Co. for final repairs.

Sunland Park officials commented on both the first responders and the surrounding community, stating: “We appreciate the quick response of our first responders and the cooperation of the community during this brief shelter-in-place.”
