Las Cruces Public Libraries is hosting a family friendly First Saturday Movie Marathon with three animated films that begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7.

All three animated movies are family-friendly and about family. The free First Saturday Movie Marathon begins at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024, in the Kiva Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave on Roadrunner Transit route 1.
The marathon begins at 11 a.m. with a 2002 movie about an alien discovering family in Hawaii. It is 85 minutes long. The second movie begins at 12:30 p.m. and is from 2019. It focuses on a group of friends who are trying to reunite a yeti with his family. This movie is 97 minutes long. The third movie starts at 2:30 p.m. and features a family of explorers. This movie is from 2022 and runs 102 minutes. All three movies are rated PG.
Movie-goers are welcome to bring light snacks. For movie titles, see the library’s online calendar of events.
Upcoming First Saturday Movie Marathons will include a marathon of first movies in a long running spy series, a trio of dancing romances and series of four classics from the 1980’s.
