THE STARTING FIVE
- A win on Sunday would cap off a perfect December, marking OU’s 15th unbeaten month in program history and first since December 2022. It would also make 2024 the fifth-winningest calendar year in school history, with the Sooners securing a 28-6 (.824) record over the past 365 days. This achievement would rank behind only 2006 (31-3, .912), 2001 (30-4, .882), 2009 (32-5, .865) and 2002 (31-6, .838) as one of the best years in program history.
- Oklahoma’s home winning streak stands at 15 games entering Sunday, the eighth-longest active streak in the nation and the longest of the Baranczyk era. The Sooners’ last loss in Norman came on Dec. 22, 2023. The streak is tied for the fourth longest in program and a win on Sunday would mark the longest streak (16 wins) since a 20-win stretch from 2008-10. The program record is 25 straight wins from 1984-86.
- The game is Oklahoma’s final non-conference test of the regular season. In her four seasons as head coach, Baranczyk has led the Sooners to a 40-11 record vs. non-conference foes, including a 23-3 mark in Norman.
- In her debut season wearing the Crimson and Cream, All-American transfer Raegan Beers has made an immediate impact The dominant center averages 17.8 points on 72.1% shooting (1st NCAA) and adds 9.5 rebounds per game. She has secured five double-doubles in 11 games and has scored 10+ in 18 of her last 19. The center matched her career high with 28 points vs. Omaha on Dec. 22.
- Oklahoma’s 33 assists in the OT loss vs. #13 Duke (Nov. 27) were the second most assists for a team vs. a top-25 since 1999, trailing only Duke’s 38 assists vs. the Sooners in the same game. The Sooners are the only team in the country with multiple 30-assist games this season – OU has four while the rest of D1 combines for six.

SERIES HISTORY
Sunday’s meeting between the Sooners and Aggies is the sixth ever with OU holding a 3-2 advantage. The teams haven’t met in over 30 years.
