“Our team is excited about the competitive schedule we were able to put together which includes 28 home games and 11 games against NCAA tournament qualifiers from a year ago,” said Head Coach Jake Angier.

During the Aggies’ non-conference schedule, they will take on three Power Four opponents, including College World Series runner-up Texas A&M. In total, the Aggies will see three programs that appeared in the 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament.

Angier’s second season at the helm of the Aggie program will include four home series against league opponents as NM State hosts Dallas Baptist (March 28-30), Jacksonville State (April 17-19), Middle Tennessee (April 25-27) and Western Kentucky (May 9-11). Meanwhile, the Aggies will hit the road for in-conference series against Liberty (March 21-23), Sam Houston (April 4-6), FIU (April 11-13), Kennesaw State (May 2-4) and LA Tech (May 15-17).

NM State will open its non-conference schedule with a four-game series against St. Thomas on Feb. 14-17 and will later host Portland on March 14-16. The Aggies’ non-conference slate also includes weekend series against Western Illinois (Feb. 21-23), Oakland (Feb. 28 – March 3) and Texas A&M (March 7-9).

Additionally, the Aggies will see in-state rival New Mexico four times this season as they host the Lobos on April 1 and April 15 while they will travel to Albuquerque on Feb. 25 and April 22. NM State will also have two-game road series against Lamar (March 11-12), UNC Greensboro (March 19 and March 25), Arizona (April 8 and April 29) while also playing a single game at Texas Tech on May 6.

The Aggies will be competing for a spot in the 20225 Conference USA Baseball Championship which is set to take place on May 21-25. The tournament hosted by Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., will include the league’s top eight teams with the winner earning an automatic bid in the 2025 NCAA Tournament.
