AGGIES LADIES TENNIS HITS THE ROAD FOR FOUR-MATCH STRETCH

It’ll be the first road trip for the Aggies of the spring season.

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – After opening the spring season at home against UTSA, NM State is set to embark on a four-match road trip. The Aggies will play three contests in Stephenville, Texas, before concluding the trip with a match in Abilene, Texas.

This marks the Aggies’ first road trip of the spring, presenting a series of matchups. The journey begins on Thursday, Jan. 23, with a noon showdown against Tarleton. The action continues Friday, Jan. 24, when NM State takes on Lubbock Christian at 9 a.m., followed by a quick turnaround for an 11 a.m. match against Collin County Community College. Lastly, the Crimson & White will wrap up the trip in Abilene, facing Abilene Christian on Sunday, Jan. 26. 

LAST TIME OUT | VS UTSA (Jan. 18) 

NM State kicked off its spring campaign at home with a challenging match against the UTSA Roadrunners. Despite a determined effort, the Aggies fell 6-1 at the NM State Tennis Center. The team’s lone singles victory came from freshman Montana Parkinson-Lubold, who secured a hard-fought 7-5, 7-5 win over Aoka Nagasaw.
