NM State entered Saturday’s match riding the momentum of a three-match winning streak, looking to keep things rolling at home against Gonzaga. Despite a strong effort, the Aggies came up short, falling 4-1 to the Bulldogs.

Freshman Nadia Nemeth provided the Aggies’ lone singles victory, defeating Norhan Hesham in straight sets, 6-2, 7-6. Returner Whitney Moon battled in a tightly contested match against Safien Boulonois but was unable to finish as play was halted with a score of 7-6, 5-4.
NM State showed resilience in doubles action, with Whitney Moon and Dora Kurdi securing a 6-4 win over Rose Hayes and Ella Nielson. Meanwhile, the tandem of Anna Pinaieva and Nadia Nemeth fought to the end but fell just short in a thrilling 7-6 contest against Boulonois and Emily Robertson, preventing the Aggies from securing the doubles point.
