Registration for the Parks and Recreation Department’s two-week Spring Break Camp, to be held during the Las Cruces Public Schools’ intercession, begins Feb. 10, 2025.

The camp will be held at two locations: Fairacres Elementary School and Jornada Elementary School. Programs at both sites offer similar fun indoor and outdoor physical activities, arts and crafts, games, field trips and more. Breakfast and lunch will be served each day of the camp at both locations.

The cost of the camp is $20 per child. The camp is available for children in kindergarten through fifth grade and will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, March 10-21, at both locations. Some field trips may require additional fees which will be announced in advance.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. Feb. 10 and will close at 5 p.m. Feb. 28. Online registration is available.
In-person registration will be available during regular business hours at the following Parks and Recreation facilities:
- Castaneda Parks and Recreation Administration Building, 1501 E. Hadley, Bldg. B, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
- Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave., 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave., 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.
- Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave., 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
