Coming off a victory over Utah Tech in St. George, NM State looked to carry its momentum into Saturday’s match against UNLV in Las Vegas. Despite a determined effort, the Aggies fell 4-0 to the Rebels.

In doubles play, Whitney Moon and Dora Kurda secured NM State’s lone win of the day, defeating Sofia Sokolovac and Nikol Mircheva 6-2. Leading to UNLV getting the doubles point advantage.
With both teams agreeing to play to clinch, UNLV sealed the match with three straight-set victories in singles play. Anna Pinaieva and Lisa Zhu were both on the verge of forcing third sets, but the Rebels closed out the remaining matches to secure the 4-0 win.
