Construction on the new Fire Station 9 in Las Cruces is moving along smoothly. Some of the footings have been poured, marking a major milestone in the project. With this progress, the project is now about 12% complete.
This state-of-the-art facility will enhance emergency response times, improve safety for our community, and provide our firefighters with the resources they need to serve more efficiently.
As work continues, updates will be provided on key milestones and what this new station means for our city. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to completion which is expected near the end of February 2026.
