Albuquerque, NM – The New Mexico Department of Justice (NMDOJ) has officially added an interactive map to its federal disruptions webpage, a webpage to help visualize how federal funding cuts and policy changes are affecting programs and communities across the state. The map highlights real-time reports submitted by New Mexicans and will continue to expand as additional disruptions are reported. This tool is part of NMDOJ’s broader effort to document and respond to the local impact of federal actions.

“The effects of these federal disruptions are being felt in every corner of our state,” said Attorney General Raúl Torrez. “This new interactive map helps illustrate the real-world impact these disruptions are having on our communities. It’s not just a visualization tool—it’s a growing, real-time resource that deepens our understanding and helps guide our response. We’re grateful to those who have come forward to share their stories— the more we know, the more we can do to support those affected.”
The page, recently launched in April, houses a form that allows users to submit information about disruptions related to Social Security, funding freezes, mass layoffs, and changes to other critical programs. Information is continuously being collected through form submissions allowing the page to grow. This resource is intended to ensure New Mexicans can quickly report issues and access available information.
New Mexicans can find the issue-tracking map, as well as complete the disruption report form, at https://nmdoj.gov/get-help/federal-disruptions/.
