Earlier today [5/22] at 14:06 WVFD received a call for a structure fire in Anthony Texas at Kelwood and Wildcat.
The first unit arrived at 14:15 and reported two mobile homes on fire.
WVFD requested and received Mutual aid from the following Fire Departments
- City of El Paso – 2 units
- Sunland Park – 2 units
- Dona Ana County – 2 units
- West Valley responded with two Pumpers , a ladder truck and multiple support vehicles
A total of 27 firefighters worked to extinguish both mobile homes
No injuries to firefighters or civilians reported
One mobile home was a total loss the other sustained heavy damage to 1/3 of the home
The Red Cross was requested to assist both family’s

Sunland Park Fire Department responded Mutual-Aid for West Valley Fire Department for 2 residential trailers on fire on the 900 block of Kelwood in Anthony, TX.
El Paso Fire Department and Doña Ana County Public Safety also responded to assist with the working structure fires.
