On Friday, March 1, Las Cruces Police Department Chief Jeremy Story held a news conference where he released surveillance and body-worn camera videos from the Feb. 11 incident that caused the death of Officer Jonah Hernandez.

During the news conference, Story also introduced three short-term goals and three long-term goals that would lead to a safer Las Cruces.

During the news conference, Story expanded on those six goals and explained how they would help make Las Cruces a safer community.
