Las Cruces Police Department Community Outreach Zoom Meeting to Spotlight Veterans Services

The next Bridging the Badge Zoom meeting, scheduled for March 19, will spotlight services available for military veterans in Las Cruces.

The Zoom meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

The meeting will also be livestreamed on the Las Cruces Police Department’s Facebook page. Viewers can ask questions via Zoom or through the Facebook live.

Hosts of the meeting, commissioned Las Cruces Police Department officers, will be joined by Deborah O’Callaghan, clinical director from the Las Cruces Veterans Center; Rita Garcia, coordinator for the Homeless Veterans Program; and Miguel Martinez, benefits specialist with Las Cruces Veterans Services.

The department’s Zoom meetings, held monthly, are intended to promote understanding, collaboration, and informed dialogue on important topics with Las Cruces residents.

Each meeting is anticipated to last about one hour. An open and respectful dialogue is encouraged during each meeting.
