The City of Las Cruces Water Conservation is pleased to announce the 2024 Spring 2 Schedule of the Lush and Lean Program. Free workshops take place from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on select Thursdays (excluding the Demonstration Garden Spring Stroll) in April and May.

| April 18 | Planting for Pollinators | The Chihuahuan Desert is home to hundreds of different butterflies and bees. Learn how to invite them into your yard by incorporating native plants, and understand gardening methods that will keep them safe. This is a hands-on pruning workshop held outside at the Albert Johnson Park in front of the Branigan Library. Dress for the activity. This workshop will begin in the Roadrunner Room.
