This family event is free to the public.
It is estimated over a billion people participate in Earth Day each year! This year’s event at the Museum of Nature and Science will focus on the food systems of Las Cruces.
Join us for hands-on activities and presentations for all ages provided by the museum. The event will feature special guests including the Green Grappler, Holy Cross Retreat Center, The Chile Institute, Las Cruces Public Libraries, and more.
Earth Day will also feature plant pots available for painting and planting. These pots are made by our very own Studio Programs, and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
The Museum of Nature and Science is accessible from RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1, Stop 1. Visit the Museum System website at: www.lascruces.gov/museums or follow the Las Cruces Museums on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter @LCMuseums.
