The Parks & Recreation Department will accept summer lottery registration applications for the Summer Recreation Program beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2024, and continuing through Friday, May 17, or until capacity is met.

Online registration will be available under the “Out-of-School Time” section listed here. In-person registration will be open during the same period at the following locations and business hours:
- Parks & Recreation Administration Building, 1501 E. Hadley Ave.: From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.
- Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.: From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
- Las Cruces Regional Aquatic Center, 1401 E. Hadley Ave.: From 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
- Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 E. Hadley Ave.: From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Registration for the Summer Recreation Program is determined by lottery selection only. Participants selected for a site will be notified Wednesday, May 22, 2024, by email or text message. Postings of the winning lottery numbers will be available at the sites listed above.
Program times and dates:
7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2024, to Friday, July 12, 2024. Please note, programming will not be offered Wednesday, June 19, 2024, or Thursday, July 4, 2024.
Locations:
- Jornada Elementary School, 3400 Elks Drive.
- Mesa Middle School, 7225 N. Jornada Road.
- Sierra Middle School, 1700 Spruce Ave.
Grades:
Kindergarten to Fifth Grade (during the 2023-2024 school year). Proof of grade may be required.
Cost:
$40 per participant. If selected, payment must be made by Friday, May 31, 2024.
