Las Cruces Public Libraries invites residents to join us at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024, for MedTalk.
Source: City of Las Cruces
The presentation will be in the Craft Room on the main floor of Thomas Branigan Memorial Library, 200 E. Picacho Ave. May’s MedTalk will be about Hyperlipidemia (blood lipid profiles, cholesterol, and atherosclerosis)
Branigan Memorial Library is accessible via RoadRUNNER Transit Route 1.
MedTalk is a collaboration between Las Cruces Public Libraries and students at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, at New Mexico State University. It’s intended to be a semi-regular series of talks, each on a different topic, presented by medical students.
The program provides a chance for these students to help the community and for residents to gain knowledge and ask questions about common health concerns.
Thursday’s presentation will be the last MedTalk for the school year. MedTalk will return in the fall with a new class of students.
