Spring Stroll in the Demonstration Garden

Welcome back to the annual Las Cruces Utilities Spring Stroll in the Garden from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Las Cruces Utilities Building, 680 N. Motel Boulevard.

Come out to the garden, have some coffee and pastries while you learn how to plant and irrigate a garden in the desert surrounded by beautiful blooming healthy plants that are grown in our area with the use of efficient irrigation and local free compost.

“Ask an Expert” is the opportunity to ask experts your landscape questions about plants and trees, irrigation, and soil and mulches. Samples are encouraged.

A FREE Demonstration Garden Guide will be given out. Also, there will be a water wise plant give-away, and Class A+ Compost, also known as “Black Gold,” and compost made from green waste at the Las Cruces Utilities Foothills Landfill will be available in limited supply.
