The City of Las Cruces’ Streets Management section will be applying a fog seal surface treatment on four city streets beginning on Friday, May 17, 2024, with expected completion in one day

Residents and Businesses will be notified 24 hours prior to work beginning.
Streets include:
- Alta Vista Place from La Mirada Court to the Dead End.
- La Mirada Court from High Street to the Cul-De-Sac.
- High Street from Claude Dove Drive to Pomona Drive.
- Royal Drive from High Street to Enchanted Drive.
These projects are all in City Council District 2.
For the public’s convenience, crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2024. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained with periodic closures during the construction period. Motorists are urged to use caution through this area or use alternate routes.
RoadRunner Transit routes will not be affected. The City has verified that no conflicting public or private construction projects will take place in the immediate area during this time.
