Community Gardens Plots Opening to the Public

Starting Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, the City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will open registration to the public for community gardens plots at Jardín de Las Esperanzas, 341 E. Picacho Ave., and Tony Gomez Park, 2250 S. Espina St.

Each person will be allowed to have two plots. Beginning in March, people will be allowed to register for a third plot, if any are available. 

The public may register for plots at 1501 E. Hadley Ave., Suite A, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Plots are $15 each for the year, from February to December 2024.

Cash, credit cards and checks will be accepted as payment options. Please bring a form of identification when registering for a plot.
