Las Cruces Public Libraries will be closed Aug. 4-10, 2024, to allow staff to conduct annual facility improvements and complete professional development seminars for their 41 employees.

Staff will use the week to update the collection, relocate public computers and complete interior painting projects. These projects were recommended by Godfrey’s Associates Inc. in conjunction with the Library Master Plan.

Employees will also attend the Quality of Life Department’s Staff Development Day.

Las Cruces Public Libraries includes the Thomas Branigan Memorial Library as well as locations at the Sage Cafe and Munson Senior Center.
