The Cruces-Mayfield football rivalry is back in… THREE WEEKS (a mini-post FYI)

The thing that always seems to stay the same in modern scholastic sports is… change. For the first time in the history of the Cruces-Mayfield (or Mayfield-Cruces, if you prefer) rivalry, the storied match up will be the season opener.

Traditionally, many alumni classes (from both schools) choose to organize their respective class reunions around this game. If that tradition is to survive, reunion organizers had better kick it into high gear.
