LCPD Hosts Lunchbox Lemonade Friday at Metro Verde Splash Pad

The Las Cruces Police Department’s Community Outreach Team hosts its next Lunchbox Lemonade Friday at the Metro Verde Splash Pad.

The Lunchbox Lemonade series encourages Las Cruces residents of all ages to have lunch, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the Community Outreach Team at an area splash pad. Participants can visit with team members, discuss police matters and share their concerns about public safety while their kids cool off in the splash pad.

Lunchbox Lemonade will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the Metro Verde Splash Pad, 7125 Metro Park St.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own sack lunch. LCPD will provide free popsicles and lemonade courtesy of a community partnership with Raising Cane’s restaurant.

The Lunchbox Lemonade series finale will be held Aug. 23 at Unidad Park.
