On August 15th and 16th, NMSP officers from District 12, District 4, and the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) Strike Team, in collaboration with the Lordsburg and Anthony Ports of Entry, conducted a focused operation targeting Commercial Motor Vehicle safety along Interstate 10.

On August 15th and 16th, NMSP officers from District 12, District 4, and the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement (CVE) Strike Team, in collaboration with the Lordsburg and Anthony Ports of Entry, conducted a focused operation targeting Commercial Motor Vehicle safety along Interstate 10.

Results:

  • 145 CMV Inspections
  • 12 Out-of-Service Drivers
  • 22 Out-of-Service CMVs
  • 97 Citations issued, including:
  • 53 Port Evaders
  • 2 Distracted Driving
  • 1 Left Lane Usage
  • 41 Other Traffic Violations
  • Additionally, 1 Misdemeanor Warrant arrest was made.
