The Aggies’ nine-event regular season slate was announced Tuesday afternoon by Head Women’s Golf Coach Danny Bowen.

NM State will look to build off a strong year after tallying six top three team finishes and six individual titles during the 2023-24 campaign. This impressive showing was highlighted by five individual wins in the spring for WGCA Second Team All-American Emma Bunch, including a CUSA title.

The Aggies are set to begin the fall season on Sunday, Sept. 8, in Pawley’s Island, S.C., where Golfweek Magazine will host the Golfweek Fall Challenge at the Caledonia Golf Club. Two weeks later, NM State will travel to Lubbock, Texas, to compete in the Red Raider Invitational hosted by Texas Tech University at The Rawls Golf Course.

NM State’s back half of the fall season is highlighted by a premier event hosted by former PGA Tour member Notah Begay III. On Oct. 8-9, the Aggies will be joined by Texas, Stanford and New Mexico at Twin Warriors Golf Course for the inaugural NB3 Match Play which will be shown live on the Golf Channel.

The Aggies will then wrap up fall play at the Dale McNamara Invitational – an event hosted by Tulsa University at Cedar Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Okla., on Oct. 14-15.

Spring play is scheduled to begin on Feb. 15 when the Aggies take part in a three-day even in Palm Desert, Calif. There, Bowen will lead the Aggies against the field at the Allie & John Wallace Classic hosted by Long Beach State University at Monterey Country Club.

NM State will return to The Golden State on Feb. 24 to compete in the Bruin/Wave Invitational co-hosted by UCLA & Pepperdine at the Valencia Country Club in Santa Clarita, Calif. The Aggies’ following tournament will be in Sugar Land, Texas, at the Riverbend Country Club where Houston Christian University is slated to host the Riverbend Intercollegiate on March 10-11.

The Aggies will then venture to Dade City, Fla., to compete in the Spring Break Shootout on March 17-18. This event will be hosted by fellow Conference USA member Western Kentucky at Lake Jovita Golf Course.

NM State’s last opportunity to fine-tune before postseason play will come in Phoenix on March 28 at the PING/ASU Invitational – an event in which Emma Bunch finished nine-under-par to earn a tie for first during the 2023 season. This will again be hosted by Arizona State University at Papago Golf Course.

The Aggies will then look to put their best on display at the Conference USA Championship in St. Augustine, Fla. There, the Aggies will compete against the other seven CUSA programs for the title of conference champion. This year, the tournament will take place at the World Golf Village. NCAA Regionals are then scheduled to begin on May 5 with the National Championship set to begin on May 16.

This year’s Aggie roster will consist of seven returners and just one freshman. The group of returners includes CUSA Player of the Year Emma Bunch and upperclassmen Kaylee ChenAngela Garvin, Isa Laulhé and Marley Moncada.
