Centennial tops Artesia at the Field of Dreams

Entering the Field of Dreams, one is met by championship banners shaped like footballs affixed to the external supports of the bleachers. There is no banner in Centennial Red and Gold–at least, not yet.

In 2015, the Centennial High School Hawks wer defeated by the Artesia Bulldogs in the State Championship match, 42-34. This is the closest the Hawks have been to winning a football state championship and having a football-shaped banner of their own to hang outside the Field of Dreams.
