Westwind Road will be resurfaced Starting November 4 -

Resurfacing involves pulverizing the roadway and paving it with asphalt. This project is slated for completion in mid- to late December.

The County Road Department will resurface Westwind Road from its intersection with Northwind Road, west to its intersection with Riverwood Road in Doña Ana, in County Commission District 5, starting Monday Nov. 4.

Resurfacing involves pulverizing the roadway and paving it with asphalt. This project is slated for completion in mid- to late December.

The road will remain open to for traffic. However, the number of lanes and sections available will change, throughout the process.

Motorists are encouraged to slow down around road maintenance areas, pay attention to signs and follow the guidance of road traffic control staff. The County appreciates residents’ courtesy on the road and patience while roadwork is completed.
