LAS CRUCES, N.M. – On Wednesday afternoon, A-Mountain Sports announced the return of its popular fundraising challenge in the lead-up to this Saturday’s Battle of I-10. The initiative challenges the two fan bases to see which side can generate the most $10 donations by 2 p.m. MT on game day.
“This challenge has become a tradition, and we’re thrilled to participate again,” said NM State Director of Athletics Mario Moccia. “Winning on the field is always the goal, but this gives our fans an exciting way to take part in the rivalry off the field.”
NM State fans have triumphed in the challenge for the past two years and are aiming for a three-peat before hosting the Miners in the season finale. Fans eager to contribute can make their donations here.
The 101st installment of the Battle of I-10 is particularly historic, marking the first time since 1960 that the two teams will meet in their season finale. To secure your spot at this weekend’s game, call the Pan Am Ticket Office at 575-646-1420 or purchase tickets online here.
