Parker Road and Acacia Road Water Outages in Las Cruces

Parker Road residents will experience a water outage from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

Acacia Road residents will experience a water outage from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024.

The water outages will enable the City of Las Cruces Water Department/Meters, Valves, Hydrants to replace a main line water valve on Acacia Road. This work will be in City Council District 2.

Adjacent areas also may be affected by this outage. Residents may notice discolored water due to iron, manganese, and calcium deposits. Although the water is safe to drink, City officials recommend waiting for the water to become clear before washing laundry.

The discoloration should disappear within 24 hours. If it does not, residents should flush all faucets in their house for five minutes.
