The next Bridging the Badge Zoom meeting, scheduled for May 30, will offer information on what to do and how best to stay safe during an active shooter incident.

Las Cruces Police Department officer Andrew Lazarin, a crisis and active shooter response instructor, will be the meeting’s guest speaker.

The Zoom meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, 2024. Participants can join the meeting on Zoom.

The meeting will also be livestreamed on the Las Cruces Police Department’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Viewers can ask questions via Zoom or through the Facebook live.

Hosts of the meeting are commissioned Las Cruces Police Department officers.

LCPD’s Zoom meetings, held monthly, are intended to promote understanding, collaboration, and informed dialogue on important topics with Las Cruces residents.

Each meeting is anticipated to last about one hour. An open and respectful dialogue is encouraged during each meeting.
