LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Following a successful 2024 campaign, the Aggies now look ahead to 2025, as Head Coach Joseph Rath announces NM State’s 2025 Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field schedules.

“We’re really looking forward to our 2025 Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field schedule. We’ve lined up some highly competitive regional meets that will challenge our athletes, as well as a few larger events that are perfect for specific event groups,” said Rath. “Our team will have opportunities to compete together at several key meets, but we’ll also split up at times to maximize our chances based on weather and competition. It will be a great mix of team-wide and specialized opportunities for us that we are very excited about!”

The Aggies will compete in four regular-season meets during the indoor season, followed by the 2025 Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships, held in Lynchburg, Va. Should any members of the Crimson & White finish within the top 16 in any event, they would earn a spot in the 2025 NCAA Indoor National Championships, taking place in Virginia Beach, Va.

NM State’s indoor season kicks off in Lubbock, Texas, on January 17-18 as the Aggies partake in the Corky Classic. This will be the lone regular-season meet for the Crimson & White outside the state of New Mexico.

The Aggies will then compete in three consecutive meets in Albuquerque, suiting up for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Invitational (Jan. 24-25), New Mexico Collegiate Classic (Feb. 7-8) and the Don Kirby Elite Invitational (Feb. 14-15).

After a week off, the Crimson & White will then travel to the 2025 CUSA Championships, hosted by Liberty on Feb. 28 and Mar. 1. The 2025 NCAA Indoor National Championships are set for Mar. 14-15 from the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Shifting focus to the outdoor season, the Aggies are set to open at Arizona’s Willie Williams Classic, scheduled for Mar. 21-22. NM State will follow suit with a date at the Texas Relays (Mar. 26-29); one of the most prestigious meets in the nation.

A busy April is in store for the Crimson & White, competing in a multitude of meets in California and the state of Texas, including the Mike Fanelli Track Classic (Apr. 3-5), Stanford Invitational (Apr. 4-5), the UTEP Invitational, the Bryan Clay Invitational (Apr. 16-18) and the Beach Invitational (Apr. 17-19). The Aggies will close the month in their first and only meet in the state of New Mexico at UNM’s Don Kirby Tailwind Open (Apr. 25).

The Aggie’s final meet of the regular season is set for Saturday, May 3rd, as NM State heads back to Tucson, Ariz. for the Desert Heat Classic.

This season, the 2025 CUSA Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Murfreesboro, Tenn., from the campus of Middle Tennessee. The three-day meet is scheduled for May 16-18. Should the Aggies have qualifiers for the NCAA West Regionals, they will compete from May 28-31 in College Station, Texas.

The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships are set for June 11-14 from Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
