The Aggies fell behind early after conceding the doubles point. Tobias Wallin and Gustavo Campos were a bright spot, dominating their match 6-0 at No. 2 doubles, but Kennesaw State responded by winning on courts one and three to secure the early advantage.

Trailing 1-0 heading into singles play, freshman Holland Snell wasted no time leveling the score with a flawless 6-0, 6-0 victory over Erik Vladimirov at No. 3 singles – the lone completed singles win for NM State.

Despite Snell’s dominant performance, the Owls responded with wins at the bottom and top of the lineup to close out the match. Still, the Aggies didn’t go down quietly. Matias Rojas and Lance Urlaub both battled into third sets on courts four and five, respectively, before their matches went unfinished once the team result was decided.

With the loss, NM State concludes its 2024-25 campaign with a 9-14 overall record, while Kennesaw State (8-9) advances to the next round of the CUSA Championship.
