Aggies Open Season at Golfweek Fall Challenge

For the first time this season, the Aggie women’s golf team will hit the course for competition as they travel to the East Coast to participate in the Golfweek Fall Challenge in Pawleys Island, S.C. The Aggies will be joined in The Palmetto State by 17 other collegiate programs including UNC Wilmington who took home the team title at the same event in 2023.

AGGIE LINEUP
The Aggies’ lineup for the first week of action will include Conference USA Player of the Year Emma Bunch who returns for her junior season. Joining Bunch will be graduate student Angela Garvin, sophomore Camille Pazouki and juniors Marley Moncada and Kaylee Chen.
 
THE FIELD
Beginning Sunday, the Aggies will battle alongside defending Golfweek Fall Challenge champion UNC Wilmington while also competing against Florida Atlantic, Stephen F. Austin, Tennessee Tech, UNC Greensboro, Charleston Southern, Dartmouth, Boise State, UNC Charlotte, High Point, Queens, UAB, Campbell, North Carolina A&T, Arkansas State, Morehead State and USC Upstate.
 
THE COURSE
Caledonia Golf and Fish Club is from the design of late, great golf course architect Mike Strantz and is one of the premier golf courses on the southern Grand Strand. First opened in 1994, the course features Champion Bermuda greens and terrific scenery in the form of thousands of flowers and shrubs and numerous live oaks.
