LYNCHBURG, Va. – Following an eventful day one of action from the Brant Tolsma Indoor Track at the Liberty Indoor Sports Complex, NM State returned for the second and final day of competition at the 2025 CUSA Indoor Track & Field Championships. The senior class lead the way for the Crimson & White, as Rebecca Green, Aliyah Logan and the 4x400m relay team recorded podium finishes on the day.
NM State closed their second CUSA Indoor Track & Field Championship in sixth place, with 60 points. Host Liberty picked up their second Conference USA title with a total of 145 points.

Track Headlines
Kicking off the day of action in the mile finals, Amanda Radava tallied a personal best time of 4:50.81, taking sixth overall to earn a trio of points for the Aggies (Radava’s school record time of 4:50.66 is adjusted for altitude).
Capping an incredible career with the Crimson & White was Aliyah Logan in the 60m hurdles. Taking the top time in preliminary action with a mark of 8.26, Logan showed out on the final day, posting a new personal best time of 8.18 to take the silver medal – her second medal in the event following a gold medal finish in the 2022 WAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Along with a personal best, this becomes a new school record, breaking her previous school record time of 8.21 seconds.
Sahara Tasker and Jhana Downie took part in the 400m finals for the Crimson & White, with the freshman-senior duo posting times of 55.10 and 55.51 respectively – earning a trio of points for the Aggies.
Competing in her final season of indoor competition, Sierra Brewer was the lone Aggie in the 200m finals. The Oklahoma City, Okla., native finished with a time of 24.61 to tally a point for NM State.
The 3000m boasted the largest amount of Aggies on Saturday with six entrants. Amanda Radava (9:44.82) claimed the top spot for NM State, taking eighth overall while setting a personal best to close her indoor career. Alongside Radava, Nia Allison (9:45.87), Jordan Torres (10:07.06), Khloi Bird (10:14.45) and Kayla O’Connell (10:17.12) also tallied new personal bests on the afternoon.
Radava’s and Allison’s times move the duo into fourth and fifth place in the NM State record book respectively.
Closing the weekend strong, the quartet of Sahara Tasker, Jahnya Hill, Jhana Downie and Mickaliliah Vassell took to the 4x400m relay – taking second overall with a time of 3:38.69. This is the second consecutive medal in the event for the Aggies, as the 4×400 team recorded a bronze-medal finish at the 2024 CUSA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in El Paso, Texas.
Field Headlines
Leaving no doubt in her final day of competition with the Crimson & White, Rebecca Green earned her third consecutive Conference USA title in the shot put – winning in both indoor and outdoor competition in 2024. With a mark of 16.57m (54-4.50″), Green set a facility record to take gold.
Joining Green on the podium was junior Alesha Lane, posting a personal best distance of 14.56m (47-9.25″) to take third place, while also moving into fifth place in program history. The duo tallied 16 of the Aggies’ 50 points on the second and final day of competition – the most in any event on the weekend for NM State.
Aileen Alvarado finished her first championship competition with a mark of 1.59m (5-2.50″) in the high jump.
Tallying a personal best and a fourth-place finish in the long jump on Friday, Cameron Hodges returned for the triple jump on Saturday. Once again, Hodges tallied a personal best, recording a mark of 12.23m (40-1.25″), taking eighth place to earn a point for the Aggies. This distance also places the Conyers, Ga., native into fourth place in the NM State record book.
