The first sorte begin screening at 10:00 am and continue throughout the day and into the evening; however, the highlight of the day is the conversation with Ron Perlman at the NMSU Center for the Arts at 2:00 pm.

From the NMSU Press Release:

The Las Cruces International Film Festival selected Golden Globe-winning actor Ron Perlman to receive its “Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment” award at this year’s festival. The ninth annual LCIFF, April 3-7, is supported by New Mexico State University and Visit Las Cruces.

“Ron Perlman is a legendary actor known for his historic roles in “Sons of Anarchy” and “Hellboy,” said LCIFF founder and executive director Ross Marks. “His outstanding and diverse body of work is simply impressive. He is the consummate actor whose values and work ethic reflect the film festival. It is a thrill the festival can honor him in person, and we are beyond ecstatic to have him as the face of the 2024 film festival.”

Perlman will also be hosting a question and answer session in 15-minute increments across the four auditoriums presenting films, the first starting at 6:45 pm and the final starting at 7:30 pm.

The “VIP After Party” will be held at the Cineport 10 starting at 9:00 pm.
