Residents, beware of scammers claiming to have a warrant for your arrest. Do not provide personal information or make payments over the phone. Authorities will NEVER ask for money to clear a warrant. If you receive such a call, hang up immediately and report it to local law enforcement. You can report the scam calls through the sheriff’s office at 575-525-1911 or through the district court at 575-523-8200.
