Doña Ana Fire Rescue responded to a residential fire in Santa Teresa around 11 a.m. on Friday. Crews quickly located and assisted two individuals, with no injuries reported. Two dogs were also safely rescued from the home.

A big thank you to Sunland Park Fire Department for their support as we worked together to contain the fire. The cause is still under investigation.

Sunland Park Fire reported: “…personnel assisted Dona Ana Fire Rescue with a residential structure fire on 100 block of Feathermoon. The fire was contained to the exterior. 2 people were rescued from inside the residence. Fire under investigation by Dona Ana Fire Investigator.”
