Las Cruces police are continuing to investigate a stabbing that occurred Sunday and critically injured a 34-year-old man.

Shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025, Las Cruces police and fire were called to the report of a stabbing victim at a business on the 300 block of south Telshor Boulevard. First responders arrived to find a 34-year-old man with at least one stab wound.
The victim was unconscious and in critical condition when he was transported to an area hospital. His condition remains critical as of Tuesday morning.
Investigators learned the stabbing likely occurred near the intersection of Telshor Boulevard and the entrance to several businesses in that area. After being stabbed, the victim walked to a nearby business before collapsing to the ground.
Las Cruces police are following several leads but have not yet made an arrest in this case. Anyone with information relevant to this incident is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795.
