Doña Ana County Fire Rescue crews responded to a residential structure fire in Fairacres on Friday, Feb. 14.

Just after 3:30 a.m., DAFR crews responded to the fire at the 3300 Block of Winterhaven Drive. Las Cruces Fire and Mesilla Fire Department assisted DAFR in the response. Together the crews worked to contain and extinguish the fire.
