Emma Bunch has officially achieved the impossible task of making golf appear easy. For the third-straight week, Bunch secured at least a share of the individual title as she posted a final round 68 (-4) to sit atop the leaderboard after three rounds at the PING/ASU Invitational.

With a three-round score of 69-70-68-207 (-9), Bunch concluded the tournament with a share of the title after three days at Papago Golf Course. Bunch finished alongside UCLA’s Zoe Campos who is currently the 14th-ranked collegiate golfer in the country according to the National Collegiate Golf Ranking System.

As a team, NM State finished with combined score of 893 (+29) to place 16th out of 17 programs which competed at Arizona State’s home course – only finishing ahead of rival New Mexico which it bested by 10 strokes. Ultimately, Northwestern took home the team title after posting a total score of 853 (-11).

Bunch’s weekend was highlighted by her ability to take advantage of the par 4s as she posted an average score of 3.73 while finishing a combined eight-under par on the par 4s. This was three strokes better than anyone else in the 93-woman field. With three subpar scores this weekend, Bunch has now submitted 10 consecutive rounds in which she finished under par. Additionally, she has posted 16 straight rounds of par or better – dating back to Sept. 27, 2023.

The Aggies’ Isabel Laulhe was the second Aggie on the leaderboard as she finished the week six-over-par to end her week in a tie for 49th. Following Laulhe, Alison Gastelumfinished tied for 84th (+15), Angela Garvin finished 87th (+16) and Moncada finished tied for 92nd (+30).
