NM State is off to a hot start going into the third week of the season with a 3-0 record.

Following a pair of home meets, the Aggie swimmers will compete in a midseason event which will feature 19 events across three days.

NM State is most recently coming off of a 38-3 road loss against No. 15 Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, and will now close the season with a pair of Conference USA contests.

Western NM will treat the matchup as an exhibition while the Crimson & White have their eyes on a return to the win column.

Last week, local students had the opportunity to compete in what is the first meet of this year’s swim season.

For the final match of the day, No. 3 NM State will take on No. 6 Sam Houston at 7 p.m. MT.

For the first and only time this cross country season, the Aggies battled snow.

The Aggies and Flames are set to face off in a rematch of last’s season title game, though this time in the semifinals. First kick is slated for 2 p.m. MT.
