Despite carrying momentum from their streak-breaking win, the Aggies ultimately fell to the Longhorns, 91-67 on Austin. 

 Molly Kaiser closed this past week out with an impressive résumé for the Crimson & White.

On Sunday, Kaiser finished perfect from the free throw line (9-for-9) and knocked down 10 field goal attempts to ultimately help the Aggies extend the game out of New Mexico’s reach.

In total, the Aggies garnered 11 selections, including six members which were named Second Team All-CUSA.

UTEP produced a league-high five selections on the team, while Jax State, Kennesaw State and NM State had four apiece.

Both players have improved the Aggies overall record this week to help move NM State into third in the current conference standings.

The Lobos (7-3) came back from 15 down in the second half to force overtime, but the Aggies (4-5) used a 10-0 run in the extra period to secure the win.

The Aggies were able to clinch the win over the Lobos 81-71 after taking the lead in the middle of the 2nd Quarter.

CUSA Champion Jax State leads the group of four, joined in the postseason by Liberty, Sam Houston and WKU.

In just its second year in the league and first year of eligibility, Jacksonville State claimed its first Conference USA Football Championship with a commanding, 52-12 victory over WKU on Friday at AmFirst Stadium.

Facing a sold-out crowd of 15,411 at The Pit, the Aggies overcame 17 turnovers and 20 fouls to claim their first victory in the series since Dec. 6, 2021.

The last showdown between the Aggies and Lobos took place last season at the Pan American Center, where NM State fell on a last-second play, 73-72.

UTEP battled fiercely in a five-set thriller against Oklahoma, showcasing resilience and strong offensive and defensive efforts throughout the match.

The Crimson & White will first head north on Friday to face New Mexico ahead of a rematch in Las Cruces on Sunday.

The Hilltoppers end their season with a 28-7 record, a perfect 18-0 record in Conference USA play, as well as their ninth CUSA tournament title and 10th CUSA regular season championship.
