It provides information on a wide range of topics like Access to Park and Open Space lands, Building and Site Design, Attainable Housing, and Active Transportation.

Designed for quick and easy understanding, the Public Dashboard provides a convenient way for City Council, and the community, to see the city’s goals and the progress made toward achieving them. The dashboard offers status updates for nearly 500 related actions from the City’s overarching policy document, Elevate Las Cruces Comprehensive Plan. Updates are presented through detailed narratives from City staff, progress percentages, and color-coded statuses providing a comprehensive picture of progress toward the community’s vision.

The Las Cruces City Strategic Plan, adopted by City Council in 2021, is the City’s guiding policy document for resource allocation from 2021 to 2026. The plan’s vision, mission and values establish the framework for determining priorities and goals for City staff.

The Elevate Las Cruces Comprehensive Plan provides the long-term vision and goals for the community for the next 25 years. Together, these plans provide a framework for our community to grow and progress toward a common vision.

Envisio’s suite of features enhances the management and tracking of City plans, enabling staff to communicate more effectively with the community. The approach reflects the City’s collective efforts to increase transparency and build trust by allowing community members to take a self-guided tour of the topics that matter most to them.

Information on the dashboard is continually reviewed and updated by City staff, and ongoing improvements are made to the dashboard.

The Public Dashboard can be found on the City’s Transparency page. For more information, questions, or comments, contact the Planning and Implementation section at planning@lascruces.gov.
