The City of Las Cruces Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Mother-Son Dinner Dance, celebrating the special bond between mothers and sons.

This year’s theme, “Love You to the Moon and Back,” promises an evening filled with memorable moments. The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.
Boys ages 5 to 12 are invited to enjoy a magical evening with their mother, grandmother, or a special female role model. The evening will include dinner, entertainment, photo opportunities with a themed backdrop, and a parting gift for each boy.

· Location: Frank O’Brien Papen Community Center, 304 W. Bell Ave.
· Fee: $45 per couple; $10 for each additional sibling
· Capacity: Limited to 30 couples
Registration will open May 5, 2025, at 8 a.m., and close May 9, 2025. Online registration is available at www.lascruces.gov/play.
Participants who have not previously registered for a program with the Parks and Recreation Department must create an account to complete the registration process.
