The travel trailer, a green-over-white 2017 R-Pod by Forest River, was stolen sometime between May 17-19, 2024, from the 500 block of Old Highway 292, the road west of the Dona Ana County Government Center that connects Motel Boulevard and west Picacho Avenue.
The travel trailer is unique to the area and possibly the only one of its make and model in Dona Ana County. It has a slide-out on the driver’s side and solar panels on the roof.
The person or persons responsible for the theft may have been in a Chevrolet pickup with New Mexico plates. The pickup is described as a black with primer-gray, four-door Texas Edition that’s undergone noticeable body work.
The theft is being investigated by the Dona Ana County Sheriff’s Office.
